I totally understand where U are coming from, but U are wrong about at least my views on war. I'm not a tree hugger, and I certainly do want the people responsible for 9/11 brought to justice. But I do not agree with the idea that the American people can not question their government or its policies. If my brother or friend has to go and possibly give thier life to fight for certain political creeds I want to make sure that they are legitimate. Isn't a human life worth that? In this case thousands of American lives?
As to our media sources, I can only speak for myself when I say that I read a wide variety of print and listen to a spectrum of radio sources. The difference is that I also took some history classes and know that the US government is no angel and it has a history of doing some dirty things for personal or political gain. The government isn't as altruistic as U make them to be. Believe me that there are people in the Bush administration who have a lot to benefit (personally) from going to war w/ Iraq. Look into the background of Bush, Chenney, and Rumsfeld before they got into political office and I think that U will see where we get our far fetched liberal views from. However if U aren't prepared to do some research, then just quit while U are ahead. Its time to put up of shut up. Excuse the expression, but I think U get my point.
