I have been catching up and reading lots of post and noticed that everyone on here seems to know everyone at Strange. Now is it just because some of you have been posting for so long that they all seem like people you have known forever or have you really met these guys, actually got to go to a show? I had noticed that some people have said they would like to go to a show so I am assuming that you became a fan strictly thru the cds. How did you all discover Tech and Strange Music? Just curious not looking for any arguments. :cool:

i stumbled across this board.....i hear mitch bade way back in the day. some dudes was bumpin it in the park by my house so i asked em who it was then they told me. ive met a few cats off the board. havent made it to a tech show yet

My boy SmittyCal turned me on to Tecca Nina about 5 years ago and I have been a fan ever since. I was turned on to this board about 1 year ago by this dude (tech fan) from the internet.

For me it was in the end of 99 i was downloading music and i would aways search for underground rap and just dl anything that camp up cause i had broadband and i like heariin new stuff so if i download everything i usally would come out with 2 or three song that where good one time this track from a dude named tech n9ne came up called mitch bade(i think i was searching for rap bitch"why i dont no i was young" and it blew me away i only found 1 other song for hella days "now its on"also blew me away so i started peepin about him not that much stuff but i knew he was down with yuk my favorite raper at the time now hes fav besides tech right befor anghellic hit i finally got some more tracks a few 57rouge tracks and cbts and the worst the virus was hittin me but the first time i heard enistin i got infected i get chills sometimes rememberin when dat shit started and "What do we say to haters off top haters got beef they thinkin we got We gon get postal If it don't stop You can get ghost Or you can get shot" that was hard as fuck still is when he does it live electricty goes through the crowd now im just gonna be a fan and regime affiliated tell the day i die. I meet him twice once on front of his venue befor the show and the other was like a week ago i was backstage for that and both times he was so down to earth the first time was something i well never forget cause i will admit that i was (REALLY)nervous cause i got that regime tat and he is half the reason i got it so if he would been like whatever dude and just passed me it would of hurt me i still would rep regime til i die cause its there for some deep reasons,But it went down hella coo we where talkin to the street team people i brought bud cause i wanted to show his people the magic of cali and they where all liken the tat so my homies and them all burned i didnt tell durrin the show i didnt wanna meet tech high but they loved it and where chopin it up wit us for a while and when he was walkin down the street his people walked up to him and some fans but i aint the type to rush anyone cause that must suck if you in a bad mood but his peeps said something and then pointed to us and tech waved us over and gave us each a homie hug and the part that shocked me it wasent the 2 sec thing he hled each one like he wasent better then anyone of us and was happy to see us to like family and he got to me he was like regime life much love all that then we choped it up for a min(seemed like forever at the time cause i was meetin the person whos music saved my life a few times and the person thatwhen some one asks u if u could meet anyone who would it be tech is my answer)he told me bout how he got involved in da regime and who was in at the time(cause their been some storys going around bout a couple arstist)and then he had to go for sound check i couldnt of dreamed it better just the fact it wasent the here u want me to sign something real quick so i can leave was coo but yeah thats my deal daal you really got me started on this post on a side note Skatermen and snug just as real and down to earth i hope to see headlineing there own show in cali i told em when they down im gonna find em and hookem wit my lime green sticky icky ohh wee put it in da air

i've only been a fan for a little over 2 years... i was on google lookin for "anarchist rap" like The Coup just for the fuck of it
and i get the anghellic bio of tech because of the first sentence on there... then i downloaded It's Alive from the site and bought the album.. This was like 6 or 7 months before Absolute Power came out.

never met anyone or seen any shows

lets see. first time i heard of tech was right before, or shortly after, absolute power came out. i was looking in a VIBE or Source mag. and saw the add. didnt think nothing of it. then, when the wicked wonka tour came to Minneapolis i saw tech live. the next day, i went and bought absoulte power because i thought that most of the songs he performed were on it since it was the newer of the 2 they had (anghellic was the other one). after listening to it and watching the dvd i went out and boughtt anghellic the same day. ive been to 3 tech shows, and my 4th will be on the 26th.

I first heard Tech on the Thicker than Water sdtk. It was at least 4 years ago maybe more. Whenever that cd came out. He has a version of Planet Rock on there and I couldn't believe he rapped backwards. I have been a fan ever since and have seen him in concert 2 times. Once I drove down to MO and once in Chicago.

Heard Tech on Yukmouth's - Thugged Out : The Albulation album...and was like, damn this shitz kinda futuristic...then some time passed, and heard tech again on young droopz album, ...went online and started lookin for more shit, got Anghellic when it came out, then it was on, got hooked ever since. been to 3 shows, out here in the bay, in the past year.

I used to search for 'fast' rappers and stumbled across Bitch Sicness back in like 99 or so. Been a fan since then.

I bought Angellic when it got released. Had heard his name before that, but didn't know much about his other stuff. I thought it was a classic album, like everyoe else. Couldn't wait until Absolute Power dropped, now am waiting for the Everready album.

Heard "Let's Get Fucked Up" and "It's Alive" on the radio around the time the OG Anghellic came out. Bought that, found the board, then through a stroke of luck found CBTS and the Worst at the Antique Mall in Lawrence. A fan since then

My friend got me listening to Tech and then drug me to a show. She was from KC originaly and knew Tech from there so I met everybody from strange through her.
