Has some compelling storylines unfound in american cinema, and some animation is breathtaking, but anime fans ruin it for me nonetheless. The goths and emos who obsess over the shit repeat the script word for word, and think that they are ninjas in spite of being over 300 lbs. Same fucking scumbags who dance outside rocky horror picture show at 4:30am.

I hate it. I cannot stand Anime!!!

Iam glad you have an opinon but take it elsewhere. You probably have never seen anything but naruto on cartoon network.

@Por- Not all of us are like that. Iam a hip-hop head who loves rap and video games. I enjoy Anime as well.

Vampire Hunter D, Ninja Scroll, Cowboy Bebop, Record of Lodoss War, Akira, L.I.L.L.Y. Cat, Hand Made May, Photon: The Idiot Adventures, Spirited Away, There's probably a lot more, but I can't think at the moment... Hellsing obviously..

I just started watching Hellsing recently. I'm hooked. We heard there's a movie, so we're going to try to find it.

I used to watch Sailor Moon when I was growing up.

I look forward to it then.

I remember when I was waiting for Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust to come out. It was just called "Bloodlust" overseas, I think.

And I do believe they made a second Ninja Scroll but Jubi isn't the main character in it... I did not see this movie.

the second ninja scoll was a dissapointment...not saying it was garbage,it was cool if you take it for what it was,but when you compare to the first it doesnt even come close.

I forgot to add Ghost in the Shell.

Some animes confuse me at the end. I can't figure out the deeper meaning. Like Akira, which confused me for years since I saw it when I was younger. Ghost in the Shell had a weird ending too. Makes you think.

I could never get into Dragon Ball, or Dragon Ball Z.

But I sure do like Saiyuki. ( They all have the Goku character in them, but Saiyuki is very different. Not at all like DB or DBZ. Different stories all together, but the same character of Goku. He's just not a Saiyjin in Saiyuki. He's a demon.)

Is that the sequal to VHD or is it the remake (which maybe I misunderstood. Not sure why you would need to remake that movie, it stood on its own)

The Jubi character is actually in a bunch of movies due to the mythology.

I fell off the anime wagon awhile ago, after awhile they just imported everything over so you couldnt tell what was special from just another anime flick with plants rapeing beezies (what is that all about anyways???)

Legend of the Overfiend is just gross, even if I did laugh my ass off at it.

sorry I bounced on 4 different topics.

Not a remake. It's another movie, but not a sequel. It's done by the same folks who did Ninja Scroll, and it's got some cooler graphics.
