Besides Khayree, Sam Bostic, Ferg... I hear so much shit these days that is actually "musically incorrect." Who can really play? And what are their instruments?

Bobby Ford goes way back in the Bay Area rap scene. He originally played in funk bands in the late 70's and 80's with cats like ConFunkShun, he had a band with Khayree and Pebbles at one time, he used to do music on the Redd Foxx show and he toured Japan for years with Parliament. Later on he opened one of the first Bya rap studios called Gateway in FAirfield. He did the production on the original Mr. Flamboyant for E-40 and he recorded Rhythm X, Freddy B, Freaky Fred, The Click, RBL, Kinsmoke (now the Federation) and he helped Mike Mosley get in the game.

He's not super well known but he produced on and for Neighborhood Kingpinz, DTL, Say So, Baby Beesh and Jay Tee, Playas Association 3 - The Product, Taydatay, Unforgiven Compilation, Servin' Ya Heat Compilation and a whole bunch of other Bay shit.

He really is tight and a solid dude too.

My folks One Dropp Scott is definitely a musician. He was in a band called The Freaky Executives that played all around the Bay in the 80's and went on a world tour. He plays Guitar, drums, bass, whatever...

Felton Pilate from ConFunkShun did alot of production through the 90's for rap cats too....

I wish I was a musician .. I can barely play the keys. I commend anybody that can play a guitar, cause I tried and I couldn't do it
