where is the federation from? who do they consist of?

everything I have heard from the federation is straight knock and I think they got very good pototenial. form hyphee to the song on madden, they are different and refreshing to me. and rick rock on the beats doesnt hurt either. but I got a few questions if anyone could help me out.
