hey there AZ hiphop heads, is there any new info on BOOKIE?? i remember him dropping the classic and now rare "STRESSIN" on FO LIFE records album back in 99. dude should've blown up back then imo. what happened to the label? all i know is that they dropped Vontels "vision of a dream" & "stressin." i know hes now signed to Bassman Ent and is working on his next solo album "Da UnderDogg." his myspace pg has snippets of 2 tracks for sale and they sound good. im looking for more music on Bookie, all i have is "stressin"(which i still blast to this day) and Survivalist "Retribution" does he have any other cds out??

heres his myspace pg:

hells yeah that stressin is a personal classic, wish i bought an extra copy so i could sell it. perfect soundtrack for the summer time. 10 battlecat beats and the top notch features from kurupt, e-40, kool g rap & lil keke. cot damn cant believe this album was slept on. it should've sold alot... man bookie shouldve dropped alot more albums. true survivalists couldve been better but it's not bad, decent more like it. man his new album better drop soon.

never heard of dude, but im checkin out that stressin album now, "if you aint feelin us" ft. playa hamm is dope...
trust me if u love that G-funk/Battlecat sound of the 1st eastsidaz album, then u will love Bookie's "Stressin" album. he may not be a top notch lyrcist, but he does come off solid, sounds like a less lyrical version of goldie loc imo. every track is a banger plus u get dope big name features. i'd rate this album a 4.-4.5 outta 5.
still can't believe this album is rare and is expensive... sounds like a platinum/gold album if it were on a major... i noticed them japs been bootleggin this cd a couple years back at high prices.
