heres the deal ppl...after about half a year of my comp being busted i finally got it fixed.

whats the best site to DL music from?, i had kazza before but i heard it sucks...so which one is better?...im going on a little road trop thanksgiving weekend w a half oz, and i need to burn some cds to bump digs...

also, why is it that when ppl post up video clips, i cant see them, i get that media windows player to pop up but it never does anything, whatsup?

Well, I dont know about sites, but I still use Kazaa lite, and WinMX to dl. But that isnt very often anymore. I usually just use bittorrent or mIRC to get whatever I want now.

About the windows media player... what kind of connection are you using? Sometimes it takes a while to download the videos. You can always try to right-click the llinks and save the files if streaming the videos doesnt work for you.

That or you just dont have proper codecs..

i got netzero highspeed, i tried right clicking and saving but nothing happened for aminute, i just let it go, ill try again see whatsup...the reason i dont want to use kazaa is because the guy who fixed my comp said they bombard you with junk, but now that i got pest control i suppose its not that bad, i can just delete the junk.

and are these programs the rest of ou are talking about free?is it a hassle to find them and DL the programs?

LIMEWIRE!! i dont know why i still see ppl using kazaa and winmx...switch to limewire,its well worth it,just as many or more search results with a lot more features,and better ways to organize your file results to get the exact file type or whatever else it might be...so for P2P search engine type programs this is the way to go...in that type of program at least,not trying to put it in league with more advanced things like torrents and dc++,mirc and programs like that

Yea, I was referring to your internet connection. I only asked, because I firgured you were on a dial-up connection and it wasnt connecting to whatever videos you wanted to see. By saying you are on netzero, I guess you are on dial-up. Best thing for that is to save videos to your hd, rather than stream.

About the porn question...Considering I have never used limewire, I would say kazaa-lite, but the only problem, is that alot of files are misnamed. You probably wont be able to find the original kazaa lite anymore, so I guess limewire should suffice. mIRC works good too, ifyou know what channels and servers to look on.

-side note: Kazaa Lite doesnt put spyware on your computer, but if you want regular Kazaa, then that will put spy/adware on it. Also, I just may have to check out limewire, but so far, there arent any IP blockers for that program, so I would have to use PeerGuardian while I use it, to keep the RIAA/MPAA off my back.
