Naked man startles fisherwomen at Griffy
Two women fishing at a local lake called police after they were approached by a naked man.
The incident was reported at 3:04 p.m. Sunday at Griffy Lake. Two women told police they’d gone to the lake and entered on the Dunn Street side. After walking in the woods to a secluded part of the shore, the two begin to fish.
At one point, the women turned to see a naked, elderly man watching them as he masturbated, police said. The women told him to go away, but he continued. Police said it wasn’t until the women began screaming that the man fled.
Bloomington police officers and a dog were brought to the scene, but no one was found. Police said the woman were only able to describe the suspect as a white man with white hair.

Woman slapped, underwear stolen
A Bloomington woman said she was slapped after an unidentified man demanded she hand over her underwear.
The incident was reported at 3:22 a.m. Saturday. The 25-year-old woman told Bloomington police she was walking home on 15th Street near Jackson when she noticed a dark shadow behind her.
The woman said she was approached by a man who demanded her panties. When the woman questioned the suspect about his demand, she said he slapped her in the face. The woman said she removed her red Gap thong and handed it to the man then ran from the scene.
The suspect was described as a white man, 5-feet-10 with strawberry-blond hair and dark eyes.
