I'm asking this question cuz I'm reading around the board and I see a lot of different views on the subject hater...

So what is a Hater to you?

To me, a hater is a dude/female that always has some negative shit to say about anyone or everyone that's not affiliated with him/her... Someone that goes out of their way to express negativity towards another... Someone that aint got shit going for themselves and dont wanna see another person doing thangs...

Someone who doesnt repect someone's hustle and grind.Like you can not like somebody or their music and still have some type of respect for them putting in work,but if your like fuck them stricty because they got more than you,they hustling more then you then yourre a bitch ass hater.Dam I cant stand those mutha fuckas

somone who gose after somthing i want when they have no use for it. and im not talking about somone who's a better hustler. im talking aboth when they do it out of spite. see if you know you can get better then the next man and they try to out do you cause there jelouse then there a hater in my eyes.

a hater is somebody that puts somebody else down for no reason even if its true and you go out of your way to put them down your a hater.if your jealous of somebody else your a hater.For example if somebody looks at your car and says it aint shit their a hater even if its true.just sayin' something negative like that makes somebody a hater.Or if somebody has more money then you and your jealous then your a hater.A hater is also somebody who doesnt like to see people do better in life then them.Most people that are haters dont even know it.

The word hater is way over used, most niggas who claim they gettin hated on just can't take creative critisism. If you wouldn't trade places with the nigga you talkin down on, it ain't hating, it's stating the obvious.

Theres so many different elements of hating but people often confuse hating with having an opinion. A competetive person can be viewed as a hater but is he really? I think as long as there is an element of respect for what the other person is doing then its not hating. But sometimes you can just not like something or somebody for little or nothing so does that mean u hating? I liked Camrons music before I saw him in an interview and his personality completely turned me off and now I cant stand to hear his voice let alone listen to his music. Now would that be considered hating? Some people might find his arrogance fly, but I dont. I dont wish bad on him but I dont like him either. Opinion or Hating? Some people like to go left when everybody else goes right, so my question is, if you dont conform or go along with what the majority likes or does, are you a hater or a leader making your on decisions and walking your on path? I like crunk but I dont like Hyphy...then I'm a hater? But I love Bay Area music just not Hyphy..am I still a hater?

This is true.

However, there is a big fucking difference between constructive criticism and staight out blatant fucking hating.

We're talking about people who HATE YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR, for no reason.

So with that being said, no I don't agree.

...just to clear it up...i was referring just to this board when i mentioned haters vs cats who cant take criticism...
