The Dog House is in NY doin it big right now in the old Howard Stern Studios..As far as what they could of done for me....Not much more then they did. Got me Bay exposure and talks with many indie labels and unfortunately I went with the wrong one. I went where the money was instead of where the smart business was and got stuck with a great album that only sold 12 to 1500 copies. You gotta remember, success is up to the artist and the people who are really behind him. Good Marketing, disti and promo are key to a talented artist actually being heard. For example: FAB didnt blow because he was the KMEL battle champ at one point in time. Aside from talent, FAB blew because he found his nitch in the Bay rap scene and really went after it and had a great manager to steer him in the right direction. You gotta have talent first and foremost but dont forget to find people who are serious about their business when choosing a manager or a home for your music. I have an opportunity to re-release my "Miseries Company" album through Koch but have chosen to not. Fuck a re-release!! I feel like that is cheating the people who supported you in the beginning and who are actually waiting for new shit to drop. So look out for the new 2007 release "Morgue Music" droppin through Koch in the 3rd quarter and keep supportin Bay Hip Hop.

We gotta stop all this rapper hatin rapper Siccness Sickness. I am guilty of it sometimes myself and have come to realize that hate only attracts hate. But shit, it took me 17 years of rappin to realize that so I understand these cats comin up stayin competitive. Anyway, goodluck to everyone and happy new year.

The doghouse was still on an running when a-wolf's cd dropped, so I don't know that they could have helped much. Especially since they werent allowed to play much local stuff. Plus, from what I remember the mixtape that was suppose to drop before the album...after the album...blah blah, never dropped. That was a fumble that might have helped out more.

But damn, less than 1500?? That cd deserved more exposure. Everyone I played the cd for back then liked it. I don't think there was really any radio hits on it so much as it being a complete all around "hip hop"(backpack? whatever term to use) album.

The grittier voice on a-wolf's "new" songs im liking more though.

Right on homie..I know u have been a supporter from day one and your right about the sound. At some point the artist inside of an artist finally comes out. You're gonna hear that on the new one..I never dropped the mixtape because I left the label before I could finish it.
