Honestly.....80% of the time I'm listening to my own shit. I try to check out other people's shit as much as I can.....but alot of the time you'll catch me listening to R&B. I get sick of Hip-Hop all the damn time and need a break......so when I'm sittin' here working in my office......I'm usually listening to all of the R&B mp3's I got. Aaliyah, R. Kelly, old Jodeci, Ginuwine, Janet Jackson, Mary J Blige, Sade, Tony Toni Tone and alot of oldies but goodies.

I'm not a huge fan of Southern music at all anymore. The only person I'm feelin' out the South is Ludacris basically.....but then again I haven't heard too many of the new cats.

If you want some good southern shit to bump, look for: Swisha House, Shyt Talkers, Screwed Up Click, and Lil Flip...ESPECIALLY Lil Flip (look for his freestyle albums)! Houston, Texas aint got the biggest hiphop scene in the south by any means....but Lil Flip sold 100k underground in and around that area so they gotta be doin SOMETHIN right.

If you ever get bored of listening to the same ol shit....download/buy/find some east coast and third coast mixtapes, and bump em....look for Clue, Envy, Beltway 8, Swisha, Screwed Up Click, Funk Flex, Whoo Kid, Kool Kid, Cutmaster C, DJ Screw, DJ Enuff, Doo Wop...too many to name!

Any time i wanna do some writing/freestyling, thats what i listen to before i start
