Western Conference 1st Round Playoff Predections

I look at it like this.
We know the Lakers took it in 6 last year. So let's evaluate how far we've come since then:
Utah: They have virtually the same team. They swapped Kirilenko and Harpring for the starting lineup - I think AK is better but perhaps they wanted a lift off the bench. And Okur is hurt so they are forced to start Jarron Collins who has been subpar at best.
2007/2008: 54-28
2008/2009: 48-34
Lakers: They have Bynum back which is huge. They not only have Trevor Ariza back as well but his play has been so impressive that he is now starting. And now we have Odom coming off the bench.
2007/2008: 57-25
2008/2009: 65-17
I am not going to tell you exactly how the series will end. Maybe it will go to 6 or even 7, but if you look at it on paper Utah has gotten worse while the Lakers have improved.
