With no comment or official statement, CBS-owned KIFR-FM (106.9) fired its second major local host in two months, only five months since the station launched.
Host John London, producer Dennis Cruz and sports guy Chris Townsend, were fired over the weekend, after London offered a $5,000 reward to anyone who would kill talk host Penn Jillette.
London says his offer was satirical, and it was a response to Jillette's bashing of Mother Teresa. Jillette called the sainted nun a "bad person" who built hospices for dying people so she could watch them die for "sexual kicks."
London claims Jillette's comments sickened him and were not satire. London said he was told that Jillette has received death threats and complained to CBS officials about him.

The good folks at San Francisco's CBS outpost were not talking about the incident and London has been erased from its website.
Last month, when he fired Darian O'Toole, station manager Ken Kohl claimed the station didn't keep tapes of its shows. However, one was posted by an employee and a link was printed here, and the show was picked up across the country.
