video i directed

I went to help a friend out. He was suppose to direct the video. he left cuz he over booked himself. he gave me his camera and said go for what you know so i said action and here is the end result. i shot about 90% of this..what do you think?

Not feeling it... honestly looks Ghetto... lips don't sync.. doesn't really have a common theme or direction, just looks like home video. The transitions and effects could have been left out...

Look at these videos transitions, camera shots, etc... they keep it moving and don't concentrate on one shot too long.





Even Murs video got a home made look, but the way it's edited it's clean and keeps your attention...

when i took a video class even in high school the teacher said that the shots should not be longer than 3-5 seconds. what teacher said was that watchin a shot thats 10-15 seconds long was just boring and not interesting.

chop up the shots you took and use em at different part of the video and it will come out better.

if you know what i mean lol

I feel wat you sayin. but i had no hands on the post or pre of the video.. i went to the shoot to just take pics.. but my boy left handed me his camera and i shot the video and handed it back over and he took it from their
