I can't wait for this fight. Although they're not at the top of their game I still think it's going to be one hell of a fight. Mosley is the 2-1 favorite but I'll be pulling for Vargas. Anyone getting this fight or are looking forward to this?

Anyone wanna guess how much that Breitling on Vargas' wrists cost?

I got my guy Shane by UD maybe late TKO from Vargas not answering the bell from injury. Not the fight that it could have been years ago, but still big names in boxing. Vargas is still hella young. Shane is starting to get that weathered fighter look to him.

Maybe the old, "Ferocious" Vargas, had a chance, but this new one that cries in pre-fight interviews I don't think he's got it. But I do hope Vargas comes out scrappin.

Vargas might have beat De La Joya if he hadnt lifted so much god damn weights cuz he ended up getting tired at the end. Supposebly Vargas is in very good shape and slimmed down for this fight, who knows we might see the old Vargas. Mosley does look a little run down, i still cant believe he couldn't beat vernon forrest ruined his carrer.

^^Hell yeah, this fight would have generated a hell of a lot more money about 4-5 years ago, but I've followed both of them for years so I can't miss it.

are u kidding?..lifted to much wieghts?..dude tested positive after the fight,and still got his ass handed to him....i got mosley by late t.k.o...

Lol yea man, if you didnt know its not very good for a boxer to lift to much weights before a fight, its good for when he starts, he will have power but as the fight slowly progresses he will start to detiriote in the late rounds in which he was, thats how he got knocked, tested positive or not he didnt have his old stamina. I aint knocking oscar he won decisively but im just saying Vargas wasn't his regular self.

Steriods with lifting will get you size and cuts. It all depends on what you take. Steriods and no lifting arent going to get you bigger. You can take roids for cuts.

On Saturday, "Ferocious" Fernando Vargas and "Sugar" Shane Mosley will finally clash in a highly anticipated 12-round junior middleweight showdown at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Vargas and Mosley shook hands at the press conference on Wednesday agreeing to a $100,000 bet with the condition that the winner of the wager has to score a knockout to collect. "He says he is going to knock me out and I have been telling everyone that I am going to knock him out. I told him to put his money where his mouth is," said Vargas to Fightnews. "He's not going to win if he runs all night. A decision doesn't count. It does not matter what round the knockout happens but only a knockout counts! He says he can knock me out but talk is cheap. $100,000 ain't cheap!" Fernando added that he wants everyone to see the photo above, "so the whole world can see if Sugar Shane Mosley is a man of his word and pays after he gets kayoed."
