so, today is the day for the 8 pieces of chicken for $4.99 at Popeye's. I decided to drive my happy ass into town and get cheap dinner for me n the hubby. THOUGHT I WAS! The drive through line was wrapped around the parking lot and out into the street. Their were people in line 20 deep, outside. Who knows how many people were inside in line. Shit was crazy. It looked like they were giving away iphones and Jordans and shit.

I said fuck it and went to L & L instead, and spent more money than I really wanted too.

Popeye's slaps. There is only one here in the Twin Cities and every Sunday after church lets out it's fucking ridiculous how busy it is. Got to elbow old ladies for chicken in that piece!

I smashed over to that Popeyes earlier, got 2 of those 8 pieces. It was only 11ish, but the line was already like 10 cars deep.

I did the same shit waitin at the light before popeyes..

the light turned green and we went no where.

rode by and the line went out the parking lot and down MLK like 2 blocks.. and theres another popeyes like a half mile from there that had the same thing.. said fuck it and went to wendy and got the spicy chicken meal... fuckers gave me a double stack i just wanted some spicy chicken!

lol, i always thought that was funny how there use to be only 2 popeyes in portland and they are like 4 blocks from each other on MLK blvd.

now theres one @ the old arbys on 82nd and fremont by my place

There's also a new spot in the lil Market Town center. I went there a couple fridays ago, but it was hella crowded, about as big as my bathroom, and they didnt have joogs like jj's does, so I went to jj's instead. It seemed kinda expensive.
