Upgrading Windows Media Player

As far as I know WMP 11 isn't released yet. I think there may be a beta but the full WMP 11 is slated for release with Vista. WMP 10 is the current stable supported release.
If you just wanna play Real video files you can install the real video codecs. Or try real alternative. Its a freeware alternative to the "official" RealOne Player.

On the same site you can download K-Lite codec pack which has all the audio/video codecs you're likely to ever come across in one frequently updated package.

Do not get genuine advantage thing.....seriously, don't.....that shit has spyware in it, I heard there's been news about other company suing windows for genuine thing on spyware, something like that....
But tell you what - you just need a codec, that's all....I think that'll do....ya can do that shit without upgrading player...
