yeah, that was fucked up how kurupt backstabbed Daz. through all the shit, suge stealing the 2002 songs, and kurupt signed back on with 'em. I'll listen to kurupt's older shit, but fuck his new shit, i won't even touch a kurupt CD from Tha Row.

yeh he is bro
its called 'half time' and ive been told a couple weeks ago that it was 80% complete, and its goin to come out on dpg recordz sometime in 2004. one of the featurings on half dead's album that is for sure is tray deee. nima from dubcnn confirmed that.

but the sad news at the moment is that lil half dead is in jail right now for parole violations, so that would ofcourse delay his album.
i dont know exactly when he gettin out , but hopefully its soon.
i'll post in this thread again when i found out more info on his arrest, or just keep checking dpgrecordz.com or dubcnn.com for info

yeh he released two albums on priority records:
* the dead has arisen (1994)
* steel on a mission (1996)

and let me tell you,... they are like the dopest albums ever released,... no joke! (thats if u love that gfunk)
these albums are both straight classics, and are both like one of the most slept on albums ever.
if everybody knew who lil half dead was when his albums came out, then he would of blowed up, coz these albums are multi platinum worthy
same with the twinz album - conversation (1995) that was released on gfunk/defjam, which was also one of the most slept on albums ever.

oh yeah, and the twinz are comin out on dpg recordz in 2004 also, so make sure you pick up there album when it comes out.
and dont forget that lil c style's album comes out on the 27th of january 2004, so make sure you pick that up coz i heard it goin to be what the westcoast has been missin out for years. oh yeh,... rbx's album comes out on the same day.

and on another thing,..
e-white is off snoop's label (doggystyle) , and is now going to release an album on dpg recordz aswell. its goin to be a 15 track album, so dont sleep on that either

peace

I have Dead has arisen - shit was pretty coo for 1994, except for the fact they use that Moog Gangsta Lead in every single fucking song.

That's probably my favorite sound ever to use in a beat, but goddamn...EVERY SINGLE SONG?!?!??! Same with Dillinger and Young Gotti - shit's in every song...lol

THIS IS DOGG POUND 4 LIFE
They aint shit without eachother, Fuck taking sides, they always been the dogg pound, and if they wanna be solo artists then Fuck them both, they'll only be half ass on all their shit.

Theres already too much FUnk on the Coast without a legendary group splittin up, tha shit is sickening......

i think daz is doin alot better than kurupt is at the moment,... musicwise and with label situation.
daz will blow up on sosodef, coz they will push daz's album with alot of promotion
daz is doin alot more good for himself than kurupt is.
daz still runs dpg recordz, and is releasing new albums from artists on the label, and he also is going to get his own major distrobution deal with arista.

whats kurupt doing besides sucking majorly lately and being broke and blackballed from the industry on tha row.

at the moment, the words are true 'kurupt aint shit'

while daz is makin major moves
