Now I've never heard of this cat before and a Google search pulls up little information, which is truly suprising due to the amazing lyrical ability of this somewhat unheard of artist.
Datpiff.com shows several mixtapes released by this cat

After listening to this album I am curious as to why I haven't heard a lick of this dude's music before. The mixtapes I was sent is entitled "Tryfillation 4"...a 23 track album of Try's heart and soul. This does not seems like a mixtape whatsoever, and the fact that this album is free to the public baffles me.

I wasnt able to locate any backround info on this artist, but from what I can tell Tryf is a dedicated lyricist with incredible potential and ability. Within 3 tracks I was able to tell that a true diamond in the rough has been discovered as my head continuously bobs and I let out an occasional "wow....damn"

The instrumentals used for this album include amazing samples of some great music blended with clever wordplay and strongly visionary vocals. Where has this cat been in the last 5 years, the rap game needs more talent of this caliber. With songs like "Garbage Pail Kids" , "Lonely Stoner" and "Why I shouldn't Smoke" taking deep within the mind frame of a young and clearly hungry artist who pulls you into his struggle. Powerful and descriptive accounts of past and current events are painted with Tryf's undeniable ability to write emotional and heartfelt verses.

Rarely do we see artists of this lyrical capacity on this side of the coast, lyricists of this nature are found more frequently on the east coast. Don't get me wrong, the West Coast contains some of the hardest hitting lyricists in the game...but this cats breaks down borders and crosses lines with his style.

Mixing West Coast game with the lyrical aptitude of East Coast hip hop, I was
impressed with this guys ability to illustrate his life through intelligent and thought provoking vocals over stunning backround music...I really cant say enough about Tryf keen ability to write good music.

A wide range of topic are covered throughout this FREE album...thats right, FREE. If I had paid $13 for this album i would be a satisfied customer...but this mixtape is absolutely free on the internet...showing this guy isn;t in it for the money but for the love of the music.

I strongly urge Bay Area record labels, promoted and fans to take a good long look at this cat, download an album or two and you will see that I'm not overhyping the kid or putting too much on it. If I was in the music biz and was seeking to form a new West Coast lyrical powerhouse that could compete nationwide and elevate the level of writing...my two choices of 2009 would be Moeses Soulright II and Tryfalone together as a group.
These two cats dont just write raps, the create and formulate excellent music.

There really isnt much more to say that I havent already said, this mixtape has been on repeat for the last 3 hours and i feel it 100%. Download it today and get a glance at what song writing is really about....original, imaginative, and deeply inspiring music.

Cop this album today.its a breath of fresh..If you dont like it I'll give you double your money back.

Tryfalone...I wish you luck in the music business and I am sure I will be hearing more about you in the next year, you have the talent required to go far...it was a pleasure to listen to your album and hope this review manages to open some doors for you or at least make you some of the right connections.

My favorite tracks include

Powder So Soft, Why I shouldnt Smoke, 1,000 Kisses, Walking Example, and Stay or Go

You have innovative and imaginative lyrics, I give your mixtape a 9.5/10.
