WR justin gage (chicago) and LB ryan fowler (dallas)

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent WR Justin Gage from the Chicago Bears on a multi-year contract. The fourth-year receiver has played in 49 career games with 16 starts with the Bears. Gage career totals include 64 receptions for 908 yards (14.2 avg.) and four touchdowns.

“Justin is a big, physical and athletic receiver, who has a good deal of playing experience with the Bears,” said Titans General Manager Mike Reinfeldt. “He gives us a different body-type and he will compete for a role within our receiving corps.”

For the NFC North Champions in 2006, Gage played in eight games and posted four receptions for 68 yards (17.0 avg.). In 2005, Gage posted his best season statistically with a career-high 31 receptions (second on team) for 346 yards (second on team) and two touchdowns (tied for career-high).

Fowler Officially Joins Titans
Staff Report March 16, 2007

The Dallas Cowboys informed the NFL on Friday that they will not match the Titans offer to linebacker Ryan Fowler, officially making Fowler a Tennessee Titan.

Fowler played in 33 games with the Cowboys in his first three seasons and led the team with 24 special teams tackles in 2006.

Fowler is expected to challenge second-year linebacker Stephen Tulloch for the starting middle linebacker position in training camp.
