it all depends on the artist and how they approached the mixtape...theres some artist that get 20 industry beats and spit a bunch of "remixes" and release it as a mixtape...but then theres the artist that release a 20 track mixtape with 10 original songs and 10 tracks over industry beats, those arent bad mixtapes to get

if its an artist i like i definitely want it cuz any new material is good. I hate mixtapes that are like compilations though

DJ's use to put out mixtapes....Now major artist put them out every other week....If they got that much original material why not make a real album or Double CD????But I sure do wish that the internet and mixtape game was big in the early to mid 90's...That would have been awesome....
