Being that there for most of us...The Siccness can be the "make of break point" of an album...I would suggest instituting some form of Quality Assurance in rap music today,
think of this as the "Mac Dre Logo" for any album that passes through this archive of rap history.....if an album is released and rappers wants a real deal review of the work itself...
"SEND IT TO THE SICCNESS"
There are over 40,000 ,members registered here (given about 15k are fake accounts or inactive...maybe more...)
I feel as though for the past 10 years, Siccness.net has been an assett to bay area rappers trying tor each a larger fan base....why not have something to show for our opinions...
"SEND IT TO THE SICCNESS"
While there are other sites trying to copy the formula...we've been doing here for longer than Worldstarhiphop.com or any other similar site...i can date some of you back to the late 90's...
So why not formulate an offici8al rating system like the Source did with the "HOW MANY MIC's" review system...instead have a voting on "HOW MANY GASMASKS" this album will receive?
The wide amount of fans across the country connected to this site could really help determine some form of quality assurance for artists trying to get a start...
Imagine of far the site could go if this really picks up.....? This could be a Bay Area Gateway for artist from outside the West Coast.
I have a number of artists I work with that are trying to get a break....what is the form of review for them...
"SEND IT TO THE SICCNESS"
and yo can reach everyone from cats really makin moves in the streets and still checkin the site....to suburban teens
living out gansta dreams online.
If it doesnt get a certain rating on siccness...the last sanctuary for west coast rap..its most likely trash...
Am I trippin?....or could this actually work?
i might just be drunk on a monday at 8am with an epiphany....i might not
your thoughts....
