what, one album or 2 from baby bash and hes a baller ? as for too short i dont think he a millionare. when he was at his prime like late 80s and early 90s, rappers back then didnt make as much money as rappers do right now. but he probably made enough money to secure himself for life. but like i said only 3 rappers i see that are really millionares (e-40, jt the bigga figga and yukmouth).

^^^ people assume that just because a certain bay rapper has been around for so long and has put out a gang of albums that hes a millionare. thats not the case mayn. let me break it down fa you.


e-40 = has 2 platinum albums under his belt (hall of game and element of surprise if im not mistaken) and he did it independently ! ! ! which means all the money went to him ! ! !

yukmouth = he doesnt just put out albums. he puts out dvds and that alone is extra 100,000 units. hes making a lot of money and hes not done yet. he still on his prime and just now starting to blow up.

jt the bigga figga = theres nothing to say here other than 100+ albums released. thats alot of units and alot of money. and hes doing it independent so all the money goes to him.

I will not get in to any great nor small details just the big picture thats in plain view. Some off you know i am a business banker for the 4th largest bank in america and i bank some of your favorite rappers. I would never give out there personal info because of my friendship and i would never want to lose my job.

Rick Rock I will not get into because he does not put himself out there like that but trust me hes doing okay in life god has been good to him and he deserves it.

I would not argue the fact that jt,yuckmouth,mac dre, has made over a million dollars in there life time but I would be comfortable to say there not worth a million right at this moment.

Your worth is how many chips you have in the bank,stock market,401k,and equity in your properties. Business they might own out side there record label. a record label to me is only worth how many units you can sell from there catalog in the future. i dont see too many independent rap labels being worth that much in the bay as the catalog items are not being requested like they used too. I believe thats why places like music people and other indy one stops closed down because theres a new area of rap fans who did not get to experience the golden years and there not into the mac malls 11/5 rbl posse celly cell dre dog totally insane because they are being raised that radio pop rap is what you should buy. A majority of the artist I just listed who bought there 1st albums when they came out fan base is now 25 years and older and are leaving rap behind for the most part of it like myself. Its just not great music anymore and im in a diffrent state of mind and geting my growen man on now. Not to say I dont fuck with a few of them still. 5 years ago Chauncey and i would spend 1500 a week at music people and about a thousand of it would be from the catalog stuff but like i said the demand is now far and in between for it.

Theres 2 others on some list that i dont feel comfortable touching on who I know there doing okay from atleast the equity in there house alone if they had to sell would get a million.
