im very interested in getting very serious in graphic design. i have fucked around with adobe photoshop 7 and 8 and paint shop pro but that was just for an end to boredom type thing. i like alot of the work i see posted here. a lot of professional stuff that is really eye catching and creative and original. which is what im now wanting to get into.
anyways my question is to some of the bigger killers in the game what are best average programs that i should start off with? i say average cause i see tons of cats fighting over which program does this certain feature better but i want a general input from everyone if i could.
