as long as theyre (a major part of population) living relativley ok, they could care less about anybody but themselves, anything but their own personal comfort, are oblivious to their loss of civil liberties, and dont think passed next weekend, let alone the future of this country and humanity in general

Yeah as long as there's many tv channels, enough enetraintment, food, etc.
People shouldn't be afraid of government, right? I mean, if revolution takes a place, there's a chance of getting shot, beaten, or taken to prisons where torture exists in, etc. So yeah....or "trying to keep people busy and full, while we're having fun with our political movements/actions"? Lol

I think the democrats will win in '08 and the country will continue to get worse. Hopefully, people will start to see how undemocratic our two party system is and neither Democrats nor Republicans will ever represent the true interests of the Amerikan people and begin to look at 3rd parties (which has already begun to a certain degree)...
