As much as I would hate to say it, ICP is probably one of the biggest underground artists. They average over 6 million a year on strictly merchandise sales.

Even though im A juggalo, I still like Tech more then ICP....
I don't think any underground solo artist has ever ran his own tours besides like esham back in the day... but I still don't think E could touch tech's sells.....

I would agree with you there. I went to hatchgear.com and fuck it cost like around 80 dollars to get a freakin twiztid t shirt.....there new shit they are putting out is 20 bucks but, anything by an artist is like 60-80 bucks.

It can depend on your definition of underground... shit, I would probably toss out Biggie's name, he's 'underground.' Would say Pac, but he was cremated, so...

In all seriousness though, it can indeed depend on your definition of underground. Some would consider underground to be unsigned or independent artists, while others may consider it to be the "hip-hop genre" in comparison to the "rap genre." *Blinks*

underground to me = on a small lable with no major radio or video push. I'm not talking about TVT or Koch artist because a lot of them still get radio and video play on BET and MTV. not MTV euro or whatever the fuck tech was on.
