Its cool man a lot of people don't realize that the shutter speed has a lot to do with the blurriness of concert shots.

This is the camera I have: Kodak Z712 IS. I think it ran around $250 when I got it, so it wasn't too bad.

As you can see on the wheel it has quite a few settings. For concert shots if you have the (S) Function which stands for shutter priority it is best to use it as the shutter speed will be increased causing the camera to take the picture faster and capturing your target without as much blur.

If you don't have that function, you can select the (running man) That is the sport shot function and it is designed to catch objects in movement, therefore also elimination the blur or shakiness of pics.

I hope that helped out some, I'm sure you can look up your camera on google and find how to adjust your shutter speed.
I appreciate that. My camera has the Sports option, it actually has a sports and sports spectator option. Ill have to do some more research. Thanks again. Also, what camera do you use to do your interviews with?

The video camera that I currently have is the Sony DCR-SR40, it has a 30GB Memory and all I have to do is plug it into my computer through a usb port to upload my footage.

Since I am a college student it was the best I could get with my extra loan money in fall 2006.

The next upgrade I get will be a High Definition video camera, but I'm not sure when or how that is going to happen.

If you have like $600 or so, hit up Psycho Jesus on his myspace. Even if you don't like his music, he's still good peoples. He bought one for like 1200 to shoot the dvd for his upcoming album and now he is selling it.
