Kansas City rapper, Tech N9ne, made his way to Los Angeles on Thursday night (July 12) for the 2007 Strange Noise Tour, in which he performed before a sold out crowd, despite being sick with the flu.
As fans enjoyed opening acts, got their drink on and waiting in anticipation for headlining acts Tech N9ne and the Kottonmouth Kings, backstage the Midwest king was actually vomiting and resting in preparation of his set.
But once it hit 9:00 p.m., Tech was announced and he came out from behind the curtains usually energy and tempo fans can always expect from his stage shows.
Draped in some sort of ceremonial robe, Tech spit at a rapid fire speed, before ripping it off, displaying his signature orange jumpsuit, reminiscent of a mental patient's attire.
Through the rapper's set, he -- along with Krizz Kaliko and Kutt Calhoun -- ran through songs from Tech latest solo album, Everready [The Religion], and his most recent project, Tech N9ne Collabos: Misery Loves Kompany, including "I'm A Playa," "Night And Day," "Bout Ta' Bubble," "Jellysickle," "Riot Maker/Enjoy" and "The Beast."
To end his nearly hour long stint on stage, Tech N9ne told the crowd that he loved each and every one of them, and that they were the reason his wife and kids were spoiled, just before he left the venue for -- what we assume -- some much needed bed rest before heading to Las Vegas for a show the very next day.
Tech N9ne is currently on tour until the end of August with the Kottonmouth Kings, who are co-headlining the tour in support of their forthcoming album, Cloud 9.
Both acts recently shot a video in Las Vegas for the Kottonmouth Kings' first single, "City To City," which chronicles both their lives on the road.
