I want to buy it but is it worth the $300? any feedback from people who have it will be helpful also how do it compare to the motorola a630?

Damn I was gonna pop this question out there too. I'm a huge text'er and usually dont ever go over 150 minutes so I was thinkin of the prepaid no contract route.

A630 on T-Mobile is good for texting...But the Sidekick is like a cheap Blackberry....meaning u can receive email and it automatically gets pushed to the device...Depends on what yer lookin to do, more email or more texting

more texting, but email is important, anything that can access a pop3 account would be sick. The a630 is coo as hell but my place ( Wack ass Verizon ) doesn't carry it. They have the LG 8900 which is similar, but I don't want to get locked into verizons contracts. Do they offer the 630 in like a prepaid type deal? I hardly talk on the phone, I make people send me txt or emails lol.

Treo 650 is a full on PDA....sick as hell....But yer gonna pay a shitload more in monthly access to have the Treo with unlimited access as opposed to the affordable Sidekick.....like I said, just depends on what your needs are....Also with the Treo you hafta go in and proactivley retrieve yer email unlike the Blackberry or Sidekick where it automatically shows up

.. do the cellular companies usually drop the new shit right before Christmas ..? I want something new, shiny, sparklie with all the bells and whistles but I'll be heated if I go get the Blackberry and 2 weeks later something NEW comes out..

Sidekick2's can access pop3's... The side kick is worth it in my oppinion
