i just noticed some buyers poppin up on ebay with questionable user names like "i***d" or "a***y". when you click on their usernames it doesn't take you to their profile and you're not allowed to view their feedback. is this another way to conceal bidders or are these truly shady buyers? for example check out this auction:

I'm guessing it's just something about ebay I don't know but you can never be too sure.

Thoughts???

That is because the bidding or reserve starts at $200 or more and at this price ebay tries to conceal the privacy of the bidder, so imbecile sellers can't message the buyers and tell them they have the same item for sale and end out ripping the buyer off.

This is why you are unable to tell who the bidder is or when you click their ebay user name are also not able to see their user profiles, just another privacy thing with ebay.
