i dunno what it is bout these movies but for sum reason even if im not reading the words i still kno what they sayin or whats goin on..like i done watched city of gods so many times i feel as if i kno the language they speakin cuz i kno what they sayin,its hella weird iono im watchin this movie called witchboard right now, ididnt kno it was in subtitles tho,sum asian movie bout the quji boards,thought it would be good...im understanding thisshit tho.can any1 relate?

It's easy to tell by the replies that most Homies on here are sleeping on that "City Of God" movie.
That flick is the shit! IMO!!!! Real Gangsta shit...and some think we got it bad out here?

About the subtitle thing: Once you catch wind of whats going on (what the movies about) the rest pretty much falls in place even if you just glance your way through the subtitles.
On the other hand, I can't stand subtitles on english speaking movies...it's like WTF!!!!! I heard you. LOL!!!!
