looks good, but isnt it a lil too much gang appeal in the theme to be taken serious

could be a good thing, could be a terrible thing
we are taken very seriously and have the support from most of the board of supervisors as well as various cbo's, the public defenders office, civil rights unions & more

today was a huge success and we packed that place up with 200+ people in support, while City Attorney Dennis Herrera didn't even show up and punked out last minute and sent a representative from his office

ABC Channel 7 covered the event, and ill post some pictures in a bit

turnout was great, we had about 150+ people come out (cbo's, community members, some folks on the injunction list, public defenders office, ACLU, DCYF & other government officials) we packed the little room so they had to make an overfill room (fire hazard bullshit) - City Attorney Dennis Hererra backed out last minute and sent a representative from his office to speak to the board of supervisors..bitch ass Dorsey who stuttered and couldn't answer not one question correctly (white man at the end of the pics)

our next moves are to push for a new legislation which includes a clear opt-out process as well as fair criteria for people to be added to the list as well as holding police accountable for actions they take when arresting people on the list -

some of the people who spoke included a woman from the bayview who on Thanksgiving day had her family over and her nephew happened to be on the list, so the gang task force went into her house uninvited while she was in the shower and held her kids down at gunpoint - when she came out the shower without knowing they were in the house they told her to put her hands up at gun point naked in front of her children
