Well gathering information is what I like to do the most and there has been a lot of excitement regarding the PS3 and Xbox 360 release of BlazBlue this Summer. I just want this thread here to just get some of the key things of what is offered in the console version.
If I'm missing something please help out.
I. Story Mode
A unique story mode fully voiced and unique for each character. This mode will help clarify and perhaps add to the mysteries of the BlazBlue universe.
II. Game Play
It is a direct console port, but this time all characters have their Astral Heat not just Rachel, Ragna, and Nu. The aksys' 2nd BlazBlue podcast mentioned that some characters have more then one Astral Heat. (They confusingly said something along the lines of Taegar having 3 or 4) They seemed to be unsure about it so lets just put it as a MAYBE. They also mentioned that some minor bugs/ errors will be fixed but nothing that will change gameplay.
III. Online
Both releases will have it. According to the podcast it seems to be going well and it offers a 6 people friend lobby system. You can also record and spectate ongoing matches of anybody playing online. So you can potentially record matches of the best people in JP.
IV. Recording
You can record your own matches, etc, etc.
V. New Areas
There are new areas available... ones we now so far is Monorail and a weird circus place that looks like Carl's home area with all the puppets

You can select the area and music
VII. Animation
Yep... seems so and the story mode has a lot of new art and looks for our characters. (There also seems to be a few background characters appearing like Noel's dog eared friend)
VIII. Dual Language
Yessir... JP and English voices depending on preferences and text comes in a greater variety of languages.
IX. Achievments and Trophy
X. New OP
According to IGN it seems the OP will be different and sung by JP star Kotoko. (Her more famous songs are the ones found in the "Shakugan No Shana" Openings.)

Some people say its customizable.. I don't know how they found this out... but cool nevertheless
