I coach baseball at a local high school here and we had a special guest come to our game. Harold Reynolds, the ESPN baseball analyst/commentator came to our game. He watched the game and then went and talked to the kids on the other team and then came over and talked to our team, both JV and Varsity. He talked about what he saw and what scouts from both college and the major leagues will be looking for in these young players. He shared a lot of knowledge with all of these young players.

How he came there? Well, his nephew plays on the varsity team. Unfortunately, the young nephew Reynolds name carries a lot of weight and keeps him on the varsity team and playing. But he sucks, very very bad. He does not have the talent his uncle has. Sorry, I just had to spread the news.

Thats dope. Good to see he shared some knowledge, cuz when you're playing you got no idea what scouts are looking for in you.

When I was at Serra Bonds would come to our basketball games, and him, Kent, and Snow would work out there before the season started

Nah, I don't coach the Reynolds kid. He is on varsity and I run the JV team. I don't even think he would play for me if he was down here.

I coach out in Riverside at J. W. North high school, so I have never heard of your cousin. We are Division 1 but the talent is lacking at our school. We play against Arlington, which wins Division 1 almost every year, Valley View, which won Division 1 last year, and Poly, which is good but fucks up in the playoffs every year. So we are in one of the toughest leagues around. I'll try to keep an ear out for your cousin, though.
