simple question? what were your favorite toys growing up?

for me i remember not leaving the mall with my mom if she didn't buy me a dollar hot wheels or GI joe.

i had mostly villains with my GI joe's with a few good guys my favorite one was this one with a lil 3 or 4 piece rifle that came in a suitcase. i would set them up like they were doing drug deals going bad haha!

some other ones were my ninja turtles or wwf wrestlers. those heavy rubber ones. i had king kong bundy and his fat ass was heavy as fuck i would throw him on the bed and he would bounce off. thats how heavy that toy was.

other than that transformers or voltron.

i used to get jealous of kids with the whole voltron set that would turn into one big robot.

i was too poor to collect them all.

i know yall gotta have some favorites.

GI Joe, Transformers, He-Man, Ninja Turtles.

those were my shits. Plus I got the WWF ring and I'd fight the GI Joes in there cuz they could actually move and do wrestling moves.

but still, playing outside > playing with toys

shit when I was getting a little older like 9 when the fam would go to a flea market or whatever I'd sneak off and buy rambo knifes and those magneseum / flint stick deals and my parents would never find out because I would stash em at my grandpas house in the country.

I used to like going to the mall and my mom leaving me in KayBee for a little bit. I'd come out on top with a GI Joe or two. Still, I'd be extra nervous when she asked where I got it from "I brought it with me"
