But he had the time to diss Deshawn Stevenson? lol Everytime somebody dissed Jay (Game,50,Jim Jones) he always said that they were irrelevant in the game. Lil Wayne isnt. I guess we wont hear anything from Jay. Maybe some subliminal shit here and there but it would be great to hear Jay expose Wayne with all the fake bloodin, making out with birdman etc etc..
He's responding to Jay-Z, who got at Baby on H.A.M. (due to him saying he has more money than Jay-Z on multiple occasions).

During an interview for an upcoming Oct./Nov. VIBE story, Wayne says he’s not worried about any fallout from the presumed lyrical barb at the Watch The Throne MC which features Drake and Jadakiss as Weezy snaps, “I got your baby money/Kidnap your bitch, get that how much you love your lady money.” (The sneering line comes off as a rebuttal to Hova’s Birdman-aimed “H.A.M.” slap “Really you got baby money…You ain’t got my lady’s money.”
“I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did,” says a confident Wayne when asked if he had second thoughts about recording his acidic verse for ‘It’s Good.’ “I know for a fact music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. I know that for a fact. So I can’t ever be upset about someone’s reaction.”
Wayne added that while he understands the intrigue and buzz behind the record, it’s just another song. “I’m not going to say I don’t know what would happen before I even say [something on record],” he explains. “I do know what will happen. I’m aware of it. But it is what it is.”

Thats Not gonna be able to happen bc wayne is in a way higher position in his career then the artists that jay-z dissed on that take over track were. He cant do nothing to ruin waynes career bc wayne one the top 5 popular rap artist right now. if the carter 4 outsells watching for the throne then wayne owned jay-z this round.
i feel that. i feel the past couple years Wayne is bigger than Jay-Z has ever been. the only thing Jay got behind him is whats behind him. it seems he only sells cus hes Jay-Z, while Wayne is making music that the mainstream audience wants to hear. Jays music seems to be more geared towards the hip hop community.
