This all just reminded me that we had a "Eli Poter" at my high school too. He was a slow half black/half white kid that always freestyled and went by the rap name Chuckles (I want to say his real name was Charles). He was awful but was always busting freestyles. One day he wasn't in class, then he missed the second day too, on the third there were missing person fliers for him all around the school and the city. Comes to be he was adopted and stole his mom and dad's debit card, credit card and a few g's they had in the house. This was right before summer break that he vanished. He ended up in Florida and went all over the state and the adopted parents didn't want him to run out of money so they didn't block the debit card and credit cards and he kept using them and the cops down there were looking for him but his retarded ass was always a few steps ahead of them (probably by dumb luck) so then they noticed he bought a ticket to see the Mike Tyson Vs. Bruce Seldon fight at the MGM Grand in Vegas but he never bought a plane ticket like they were waiting for him to do. I guess he caught a Grey Hound bus that he paid for the ticket with cash he had still. The cops are looking for him because he was still a minor at the time (like 15 or 16) the day and night of the fight at the MGM Grand. I guess before he could even make it there though some other kid that went to school with us was in Vegas too, saw him, and told his parents he was the missing kid from back home. They called the cops and when they went to try to detain him he ran and jumped a wall onto the freeway and across it and lost them. He was walking to the MGM I guess when they spotted him again and were able to get him this time. The weird part is I guess when they asked him his name he said it was Tupac Shakur and this was the same night the Pac got killed in Vegas. This was 1997 and the internet wasn't everywhere so I doubt he had any idea that Pac was even in Vegas at the time.

For years we joke the Chuckles killed 2Pac and that's why he said his name was Tupac Shakur to the cops that finally caught him.
