SPOKANE, Wash. -- The bus isn't yellow -- and a high-school wrestling coach is seeing red.
Coach Dan Randles has a custom-made shuttle bus for his team at Clarkston High School in Washington state.
The 25-seat, airport-style shuttle cost team booster Steve Barham $25,000. But the team can't use it because it's not a regulation yellow school bus.
The team bus is painted in the school colors and has drop-down LCD monitors, a sound system, and even specially installed seat belts.
Randles says it's as good as a bus can get. But state education officials say the bus doesn't meet the stringent school-bus safety requirements.
Donor Barham said he'll give the bus to an out-of-state school if Clarkston doesn't get a waiver from Washington state officials.
