a lot of cats use this board to network, a lot use it to talk shit, but one thing everyone needs to remember is that its Bay Area Rap Talk - meaning it started as a place for fans to discuss bay area music and gradually evolved into the networking board it is today.

I think it can be used as a way to network, if you're an aspiring rapper/producer, etc., but it can also serve as a way to discuss and learn about Cali music in general. Depends on whether you're an artist or fan.

And yeah, as annoyed as I get with people who post on this board to talk shit and hate (you know who you are), I've come to understand that a lot of it is just youthful ignorance. Trying to reason with a teenager or early twentysomething who's going through his or her "I know it all, don't tell me what to do" phase is like trying to argue with a Bengal tiger.

BART can be whatever we want it to be, if we're willing to keep control of it in our hands.

For me this board keeps me updated on whats hot and whats not. I wouldn't get that sort of information on the streets of Paris feel me. It's like, everywhere around the world, you're gonna hear stories and news about cats from your area, not elsewhere.
