According to an article over at Gunitworld.com, 50 is in the process of trying to convince Afeni to let him produce the next Tupac album and release it as a joint venture between Amaru and G-Unit Records. He says that he's not happy with the way previous posthumous Tupac records have been handled and that he knows exactly what they've been missing: better marketing. Yeah that must be it, because an agressive marketing plan is what really makes for good music, just look at how well it worked for Mobb Deep this month. (That was sarcasm in case you didn't catch it.)

Billion Dollar Budget says:

"I feel the people running his material are not necessarily heading his work in the proper direction". 2Pac had an album come out some years ago and they only put out one single out of about an album filled with 30 songs and that single had Nas on it. To me that was the worst thing they could've done. Like why would they put Nas on a pac single and then worse make a video for it also as the lead single."

Well, I can't really argue with him there, everybody knows diehard Pac fans like to get on Nas about his newfound love for a man who had more than a few harsh words for him when he was still alive. The big question here though is, what do all of those same hardcore Pac fans think about 50 putting his hands on a whole album? I know not too many people were exactly thrilled with the role Eminem played in Loyal To The Game, and Tupac loyalists can get pretty testy when anybody dares to put their savior over a beat they're not feeling.

In related news, your boy 50 picked up a nomination for a BET Award in the Best Male Hip Hop Artist category alongside, T.I., Common, Busta and Kanye West. Not that the BET Awards matter or anything but congratulations to everybody nonetheless.

Sidenote: Why is Busta nominated for this award? I know the Big Bang is dropping any minute now, but shouldn't you have actually had an album in stores in the past year to be considered for Best Male Hip Hop Artist? Somebody tell BET that mixtape appearances and remixes are cool and all but they need to tighten up their nomination requirements if anybody is ever going to take those awards seriously.

loyal to the game was possibly one of the worst produced albums I've ever heard (aside from the last 4 tracks, which weren't spectacular but atleast sounded like something Pac would get down to)

if 50 can get some good producers together and keep his vocals away from this cd, maybe it'll turn out good, but most likely it'll suck.

lets hope it doesnt happen

I fuckin hate 50 cent but damm that last cd sucked, personally I thought Better Dayz ,Until the End of time, Still I rise, R u still down, were all tight, and none of them had somebody like em or 50 producing them, let Johnny J take care of it.

No more pac albums please, they killed the whole thing with that last one, it was horrible and I don't see them getting any better. They shoulda stopped at Better Dayz which had its fair share of good songs on it.

If they were to put out another Pac album I'd like to see it with unknown producers on it, Pac made alot of unknown producers shine with his voice on their tracks. I'd like to to hear what Pac would sound like with Kanye on the beat, that would be interesting

This has been posted...

But I don't see why people are bashing something they've never heard. Hate him or love him, 50 has a great ear when it comes to picking beats...
