I FEEL EXACTLY THE SAME WAY AS DUDE WHO MADE THIS THREAD.
QUINN'S VOICE WAS WAY DOPER IN THE GLP DAYS, LYRICS WERE A BIT TIGHTER TOO.
WITH THE DEEPER VOICE HE SOUNDED MORE HUNGRY.

His voice hasn't really changed. It's his flow. Back in the Live N Direct and Hustle Continues days, he had that steady fast-paste flow to fit the mobstyle beats that were popular in the 90's. A lot of Bay rappers had similar flows back in those days. Now that the style of beats has changed, San Quinn adapated a more laid-back poetic type flow.

to me he is like mac mall sometimes, he kinda just fades away in the track and it gets hard to follow him, maybe its their rhyme scheme or just the pattern or something. its not like they are off beat, or they really change their voice at all, i dont know its hard to explain. both are some of my all time favorites but they are hit-or-miss sometimes.

but i love Quinn on "The Hard Way" if thats the one im thinking of, it has E-40 on it. that song is sick.

"lyrical mac 10 can begin and end this shit
your troops, think they bulletproof, they goofs!"

like on that "Northern California" the lyrics are sick but his voice could be mixed better or something. but he sounds perfect on "Look What I Done For Them", i think.

I feel Quinn's voice sounded more gangsta back in the early days when he was under JT, and was on the Rompalation. On his "Done Deal" albums his voice sounds like an old man whining? Anyone feel me.....?
Man, I been sayin' the same thing for a minute. Not exactly what you sayin', but I liked his sound more back in the day than I do now, no doubt.

First of all, stay off dude's tip! Second, his voice changed for a very natural reason: Puberty! Remember Quinn was only 15-18 when he dropped 'Live-N-Direct' and 'Hustle....' But I guess yall dont remember, caused yall were youngins yall self.

Quinndo's voice fluctuates dependin' on the beat, feature & concept, imo.
exactly, his voice is what makes him so dope, the first time i heard the first verse on hubba rocks, i went nuts.
