Yup yup...if you ask, they have to tell you...if they say NO, and they arrest you...it's entrapment and they have to let you go. However, if it's a setup, and dude is just a snitch for the cops, you're fucked either way, cause dude really isn't a cop.

Why then when prostitutes ask them if they are law enforcement and police are on a sting they lie? I think this is a "urban legend" of sorts. I read a lot on law - some side track shit I thought was interesting - I always assumed you cant change lanes while going through an intersection - perfectly legal. But everyone and their mom thinks its a traffic violation. Do your homework folks, dont take anything people say for facts...

Lol, even though I live in the TLs and am SURROUNDED by hookers, thats just what I saw watching COPS when they round up hookers, not from personal experience. I saw plenty of hooks ask cops if they were in fact police officers and they blatantly said no, then arrested em. Who knows though. But how could undercovers ever get far if all it took was people simply asking "Are you a cop"?

for my case
i asked a undercover agent if he was a cop like 3 times
and he said nah fuck nah we aint no cops do we look like cops
then motha fucker ask me if i was a cop when we was done with tha transcation .
and bam i was arrested.
and when i went to court my lawyer just told me its there word as you, in court. unless you had some kind of recording that they said no...
but that was my state case.
on my federal case! i was told that the federal agents dont have to reveal that they're an law enforcement

If it's enough to be a federal case, they ain't gotta say shit, because obviously you doin some heavy slangin...and Feds don't have to say a damn thang, because it's their job to get federal criminals locked up NO MATTER WHAT!! That ain't no brain teaser, the fact that you had a FEDERAL CASE says it all...u werent just slangin dubs of chron...
