Maybe, but his FG% isnt any better than Adams's and Adam scored more. Brandon is better at the line. Rudy Gay could have a strong second half, look out.
well thats only because when he was injured he played the first half aginst the clippers, and couldnt do shit which KILLED his adverage, then the next game, same thing happened expect I think he only played a quarter.

In that case, his shooting PCT is WAAAAAAAAAAAAY worse than Adams. In the 4 games he played, he shot over 33% only ONCE. But ill give him the benefit of the doubt, we'll see what he can do when he gets back healthy.

Theres much more to it than the numbers tell. Plus, Roy has been out with injuries and left his last 2 games early with injuries. Rudy Gay is good but he's VERY inconsistent and not aggressive enough. Not a chance he wins ROY

Rudy Gay
PPG 9.4
RPG 4.3
APG .7
SPG 1.04
BPG .84
FG% .385

Brandon Roy
PPG 11.6
RPG 2.8
APG 3.4
SPG .20
BPG .40
FG% .377

Such a laughable difference, huh?
Do your homework, Roy played 14 minutes in one game and six in another, you can't look at the averages in this case. In the 3 games where Roy actually played legitimate minutes, he averaged 16.67 pts, 4.25 rebounds, 5 assists.

I know I'm making a bunch out of 3 measly games, but Roy is going to win this award easily. He's going to dominate Gay just like he did when they squared off in March.

I didnt know he missed that many games.. even more reason why he shouldnt be a shoe-in for ROY though.
I had him on my fantasy team though.. and it didnt seem like he was doin shit.. even though he was getting minutes. so I traded him for Gay and he been putting up way bigger numbers.

Big mistake man.

Gay has yet to have a single game this year where he went for atleast 16, 4 & 5 (Roy's averages that I posted).

The reason Roy wasn't doin shit was b/c he wasn't playing.

We'll check back in with you on this one as the season progresses.

Rudy has gotten close to those. Hes gone over 15 5 times this year and over 20 3 times.

Both teams need these rookies to play minutes and both are going to be long-standing perennial All-Stars in the future.
