Roc La Familia

Def Jam recently announced the launch of Roc La Familia, which will have more world music-based releases. Reggae, reggaeton, calypso, tribal and West Indian are the primary genres that the label will focus on. "World music has evolved as a genre, it now blends contemporary styles such as hip-hop, rock and electronica with traditional and roots music," explains Def Jam President Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. Aztek Escobar is the first artist signed to the Roc La Familia.

People finally startin to jump on the reggaeton bandwagon, but I think it's in it's decline now tho. It's been a long ass time, but foos aint really gon be bumpin it much longer.
