it's been a while since i heard anything "new"

here's my recommendations for you all to check out

ill bill - what's wrong with bill [album] (hardcore rap)

steely dan - aja [album] (not for everyone, but this album is a fuckin masterpiece)

Immortal Technique - Dance with the Devil [song] (underground hip hop) probably the best "tell a story" type song i've heard

Morcheeba - Charango [album] (real chill shit)

Slayer - "sex.murder.art" and "213" [songs] fuckin genious

Funny you mention that, I'm going to see Breaking Benjamin tonight w/ Korn, Skindred, Chevelle, and Instruction...who ever the hell they are. Breaking Benjamin's alirght, nothing special though, I'm really going to see Korn. If I had to recommend some rock bands they would be: Slipknot, Mudvayne, Pantera (though they are no longer together), Primer 55, Hed PE, Machine Head, Ministy, Godsmack, Tool, and A Perfect Circle. Probably more too, but I'm sure I've said enough for that one dude and I aint mentioning his name on purpose cuz I think it makes him feel more powerful or something, but I'm sure the dude will have something mean to say. I listened to that Rustedshine too, didn't really care for them.

LoL... I used to promote Primer 55 back like... 5 years ago.

But you're fuckin' lucky because Korn rocks balls live. I can go see them at a K-Rock show but I don't want to watch them play 5 songs... There's nothing like a whole stadium full of people yelling "You can suck my dick and fuckin' like it!!" then headbanging for days.

The show I'm passing up has Velvet Revolver and Korn on the bill, with some other pussy fuckers. If I could go for free I'd have the time of my life but I'm not putting tickets on the credit to see 40 mins of two bands in between emo bullshit.

Hed PE is one of my fav's right now... also ill nino, spineshank, 40 below summer. Just curious to which Rusted Shine track you listened to... cause Dig is the best one i think they have on there in full mp3. Appreciate the comments tho.

But in RE: to the ^^^ upper thread, Killswitch Engage is my hardcore shit right now. That and Fear Factory's Remanufacture album for that techno shit.

I wanted to see KE at Jager tour but missed it :( That fear factory is tight tho and so is the older one.

I listened to the Leave Us Alone and Hex clips, but I'll check out Dig since you say it's their best. I seen Ill Nino play with Soulfly, they definately put on a good show, I got kicked out of the venue I was at for being too drunk and rocking the fuck out...I thought thats what concerts were for, but I guess I was underage, but not anymore. Tonights show will be my first now that I'm 21, should be a blast. I like a couple songs by Spineshank too, but I forget what they're called. Hed PE will always be a favorite of mine. Have you heard Skindred?

The old FF was too fuckin'... hardcore metal for me, I guess. I like their more digital shit. Like I start at Demanufacture and Soul of a New Machine (assuming that's the correct title) is just not my shit.. I don't like the way it was recorded. I'ts like listening to a tape in a car radio.

I missed Killswitch on the Jeager tour also... ::shrug:: Too much shit goin' on in my life.

Yea go to demo and they have the whole dig song... the other better clips are words and a release. I saw that same ill nino show and it was tight. I have heard one song from skindred but since i no longer have fast internet i havent downloaded crap.
