Ras Kass is currently in the custody of the Las Vegas Metro Police Department awaiting extradition back to California. The rapper, who was taken into custody during the Memorial Day weekend, has been a fugitive since January when he failed to turn himself in to serve a nine-month sentence for his third DUI conviction. As a result, Ras Kass may face additional time once he's extradited to California.
While on the run, Ras Kass launched a campaign to gain his release from his label, Priority Records, which included an on-line petition and T-shirts. The rapper recorded two sets for the label: Van Gogh and Golden Chyld. However, Van Gogh was shelved permanently due to bootlegging and legal challenges and Golden Chyld has been pushed back indefinitely.

I read that Scipio, an up-and-comin' lyricist, and Ras' close friend, said that Ras turned himself in. But they said they ain't sure though, so who knows.

^^yeah, later on in the day after i posted this, i read he turned himself in as well. either way he's in custody.

Damn 9 months for 3 DUI's. I know drinking and driving is bad but fuck. I know a broad that has 4 DUI's and she only had to do work project and a few weekend's in jail. I guess it depends on your judge.
