behind the Ravens and Bears....

Not bad...

If only this offense was gettin the job done maaaan.

top 4 leaders:

Burgess- 10 sacks
Sapp-7 sacks
Aso- 5 INTS, 1 TD
Morrison- 94 tackles, 2 INTS, 1 TD

good thing is the Defense is fairly young with the exception of Sapp.. So they will only continue to get better as a unit.

Too bad the offense couldn't get it together this season, But the D has done a hella ofa job.. And I just wanna give props to Rob Ryan the DC.. He came in here and did a good job putting this D together..

We def. should have a bunch of guys going to Hawaii this year unless the haters are out which they very well may be

Obviously their D is fierce. They just need to fix their offense (QB and O-Line) and they will be a force to reckon with.

What's amazing if you think about it is their D shouldn't be that good. You've heard the expression "a good offense is a good defense." With how poorly their offense is the Defense must be on the field a whole lot and you'd expect them to get tired and give up a lot of points.

Nothing to be ashamed of...
Except for the offense and their overall record.

They give up enough to lose the game.

But all jokes aside, the defense performs pretty damn well. They deserve their props. It's the only reason they're not getting blown out week in and week out. But it's sad when your D is #3 overall and your team as a whole is one of the worst in the league. That means the offense is ridiculously bad. It just goes to show that defense is not the only thing that wins championships. You have to have at least a decent offense or you won't be doing jack shit.

yup good defense, when's the last time you saw an NFL team only get -5 passing yards?
-5 passing yds yet still win the game:confused: that goes to show how the offense cant put points on the board

I think if they get a QB who can manage the offense and not make mistakes, they'll be a contender as long as that D stays as nasty as they are. Then again Moss and Porter (who are not making a difference anyway) may be gone next season and they don't have a running game to take pressure off their passing game. The offense has a lot to be addressed now that I really think about it. I don't know if they will be able to keep their D together and acquire playmakers on offense.. But if they find a way to do it, they'll be a contender again in a few years.

its not that....the qb can't be the only one on the offense making plays....it comes down to our o-line not blocking, and our recievers refusing to receive...our running game could step up a bit, but jordan's injured

also this last game the special people gave up huge plays

changing QBs (again) won't solve our problems....with that being said, BRING ON VICK!!! :)

true.. QB is not the problem... Just like when Walter was playing,, even with the poor protection he got he was still getting the ball to the WRs.. It aint his fault they kept dropping passes. Mostly Moss

I think Vick signed a long term contract with the Falcons for over $100 million I could be wrong though. If we do get him we would have to trade for him. I think his back up is deep too. Matt Shaub or some shit like that.
