How much does your average project cost you accounting for studio time, engineering, mixing/mastering, album covers/flyers, production cost, features, photo shoots, HD music videos for promotion, etc. If you not willing to give a dollar amount (it could jus be roughly) could u say how many albums u gotta sell to break even? The reason why I'm asking you berner is cuz all ur recent projects have expenses tied to all of those, and I'm interested to know how much you invest the quality of your product. It'd be impressive if you were turning a profit on every one of your projects accounting for all those costs considering the difficulty of selling music in this day and age.

at the end of the day, i really don't wana keep track of how much each project cost, lol, i no i put more into projects to insure the quality of the project as far as production and artwork, and yes i do make money back and a good amount of profit on each project, building relationships with mom and pop stores out of state helps a lot!!!!!!!! u get them to order more and to push ur product if u give good deals, that's why i think im getting money, also i tunes checks every first of the month keep increasing, my goal is to build a steady catalog and let that i tunes rock out, also when u look at re cooping from projects u gotta remember, with each project ur name gets a lil bigger, so shows and features (verses) make a lot of money as well.... MY ADVICE IS, INVEST IN UR NAME,AND QUALITY OF PRODUCT, AND IT WILL ALL COME BACK!!!!!! IT IS HARD TO MAKE MONEY OFF MUSIC, AND I LEARNED THE HARD WAY... BUT I GOT IT POPIN NOW, MY ITUNES CHECKS ARE ANYWHERE FROM 900 TO 1500 A MONTH, AFTER DROUGHT 2 AND THE MESS ALBUM, THEY WILL BE AT 2000 TO 2500 A MONTH, AND THATS JUST DIGITAL... JUST A IDEA.. GREAT QUESTION.....IF ANYONE NEEDS ADVICE FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS LOST AND WON, PM ME..MUCH LOVE
