I usually code everything out in html in notepad for websites but im on a Mac now and theres no notepad, what do you guys usually use if you code on Mac's? i tried using the application, "text edit" but when i tried saving in html format (under html with the .html extension) and tried to open it up in Safari it just opened up as the actual html codes instead of the page itself...

any help appreciated, thanks

DREAMWEAVER shits on BB EDIT.......

TRAGIK: there is a choice in the view buttons between str8 code, code and design split or just design......i use code and design split screen.....
i usually hand code everything.....but i like seeing the code update
the design page to what its gonna look like......BUT if u already have DW,
then there are tutorials built into the program already,
just go 2 the help menu and it will give u those options........
