why buy the 80 gig for an extra $100 when you can spend less and use the gift card u already have to buy an $89 dollar 160gb hd? not everyone cares about msg4, and u can get a dualshock controller with the 40gig as part of the bundle.

The 40 gig PS3 comes with the old Six Axis controller. The new Dual Shock 3 controller was just released last week when MGS4 was released. I guess they also fixed the loud fan noise on these new 80 gig's also. It's really a matter of prefrence on what you wanna go with and if you can even find the 80 gig bundles which are pretty much sold out...

I have yet to see a 40 gig "bundle" that includes a Dual Shock...

the dualshock 3 is only included in the mgs4 80gb bundle. no where else is the dualshock 3 in a ps3 box.
